<p>1. To burn anywhere from 500-1000 calories an hour, try bicycling either outside or on an exercise bike. This is easy to do because you can have fun with it, enjoying the ride and listening to some music.</p>
<p>2. One excellent exercise for people who want to get out of the heat and work virtually every muscle group while still burning 800 calories an hour, try swimming.</p>
<p>3. For a bit of fun and a great total body workout, just dance! Take a fun class at the gym, or just throw on some music after work and unwind in your room! You can burn 600-800 calories per hour just grooving!</p>
<p>4. If your main problem areas are your legs, hips, or butt, try step aerobics. You&#8217;ll burn 800 calories an hour and will start to see results in only a couple weeks.</p>
<p>5. If you have access to a gym or can purchase equipment and want to tone your stomach and legs, hit the elliptical machine. You can burn 600 calories an hour and really build your endurance.</p>

<p>Here are three tips that will help you stick to your weight loss plan:</p>
<p>1. Figure out what it really is sweets satisfy in you and choose an alternative. Some people eat sweets for comfort, others out of boredom, others to fill another space in their lives. If that sounds like you, target that problem area in your life and decide upon another activity that can satisfy that part of you instead of sweets. Maybe there&#8217;s a healthy food you could substitute, or maybe a light activity to get your mind and body off the craving.</p>
<p>2. Remove the temptation from your life. This seems obvious but not a lot of people actually follow this rule because they believe they have the willpower to resist the temptation. Yet time and time again, people let themselves fail their diets because they can&#8217;t help reaching for the sweets. Go through and clear out your cupboards right now and promise yourself not to buy sweets when you go shopping.</p>
<p>3. Make sure you eat healthy foods and keep yourself fed throughout the day. If you let yourself become hungry, you&#8217;re more likely to fall prey to temptation, so eat 4-5 small meals a day that are low in carbs and high in protein. In no time, you&#8217;ll be on your way to a thinner, sexier body.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>Are you trying to figure out how to get skinny fast but find yourself lost in a sea of temptation?  Sometimes<br />
it can feel almost impossible to control yourself, especially given the world we live in today.  We&#8217;re surrounded by unhealthy foods and lifestyles and it can be hard to stay focused.  Here are a few tips that can help cut the temptation out or at least fight if off when it&#8217;s there:</p>
<p>1. Load up on water.</p>
<p>Drinking a glass of water 15 minutes before a meal has been proven to significantly aid in weight loss. This practice helps reduce the temptation to overeat due to hunger. Often times when you think you&#8217;re hungry (especially if you&#8217;re craving something sweet), you&#8217;re actually just dehydrated.</p>
<p>2. Go through your cupboards and fridge and get rid of all junk. Fight temptation by simply removing it from your life! Stock your house with healthy foods so you won&#8217;t ruin your diet if you need a snack.</p>
<p>Tempted by food at work? Pack your own lunch and find alternate routes that don&#8217;t involve passing the vending machine or the cafeteria.</p>
<p>3. Brush your teeth when you have a craving. Sounds silly, but it satisfies your brain&#8217;s boredom and urge to use your mouth and hands. Plus often times after feeling that minty clean breath, you won&#8217;t want to put food in your mouth.</p>
<p>Many people find that just by giving yourself a couple minutes to regroup, the craving passes and you feel strong enough to move on.</p>
<p>4. Commit to &#8220;taking ten&#8221;. When you have a craving, tell yourself that if you are still starving after 10 minutes of waiting it out, you will let yourself have a snack.</p>
<p>Most people find that their cravings are more psychological than physical and simply pushing through the moment of craving is the best way to resist giving in to the temptation.</p>
<p>5. Snack on nuts and low fat cheese. Eat 4-5 small meals a day (breakfast being the largest) and then in between meals, have a small handful of nuts to keep your energy up and your hunger down.</p>
